Machakos University Procurement Department was established pursuant to Section 45 & 47 of the Public Procurement & Asset Disposal Act 2015.

The Administration and Planning Department is responsible for general administration and planning of the University.

The Department is headed by Grace Mumbi who coordinates HR Systems and functions in line with the MksU Human Resource Policy and in consistent with the University Strategic Plan.

The Machakos University Finance department is charged with the responsibility of advising the management on prudent financial management and compliance to the applicable Public Finance regulatory framework.
