Division of Administration, Planning and Finance

The Division of Administration, Planning and Finance was established in May 2014 upon the appointment of the first Deputy Principal. Currently headed by a Deputy Vice Chancellor. The Departments in the Division are: Human Resource, Finance, Procurement, Planning (Transport, Repair, Maintenance and Cleaning), Hotel & Conference Centre, PC & QMS and Clerk of Works in charge of University projects.

Registrar's Desk

Welcome to the Administration and Planning department. The Administration and Planning Department is responsible for general administration and planning of the University.


Human Resource

The Department is headed by Mrs. Rose Matolo who coordinates HR Systems and functions in line with the MksU Human Resource Policy and in consistent with the University Strategic Plan.



The department advises the management on prudent financial management and compliance to the applicable public finance regulatory framework among other key roles.
