MESSAGE FROM THE REGISTRAR (ADMINISTRATION & PLANNING)
The Office of the Registrar, Administration and Planning is responsible for the coordination of Strategic and Administrative functions of Human Resource, Transport, Planning, Central services and Central Registry departments of the University. These dockets often overlap in creative ways to provide high-quality support services to the division responsible for Academic and Students Affairs and the Research, Innovation and Linkages Division. This office constitutes one of the operational arms of the Administration, Planning and Finance Division and works with the Finance and Procurement departments alongside others, to facilitate the provision of quality services by all university units. This Office is the backbone of the University and acts as the link between the Management and the employees.
The office anchors the Human resources and Planning departments. The Human resources department is in charge of development and implementation of policies and procedures related to recruitment, compensation, benefits administration, performance management, and employee relations. The department strives to fulfill the vision of the University by identifying, recruiting, deploying and capacity building its human capital. The Planning department oversees the provision, maintenance and development of University facilities and infrastructure to support both teaching and administrative activities.
The office is currently headed by the Registrar, Administration and Planning.
