There’s no saying that technology has drastically reduced incidences of electoral malpractices, as witnessed in the just concluded Student Association of Machakos University (SAMU) elections. The Interim Electoral Commission Machakos (IECM) has employed an innovative approch to improve the management and conduct of elections within Machakos university. Electronic Voters Register and voting has reduced incidence of vote manipulation to the barest minimum as well as Result manipulation. Hence, it is believed that the incorporation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Machakos University electoral process has reduced excessive electoral fraud to the barest minimum and foster credible elections
